Stavros started his musical journey at a young age studying classical guitar while performing and touring in the greek music scene. In 2003 he earned his jazz guitar diploma from P. Nakas Conservatory in Athens and then moved on on scholarship to study Jazz Performance and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston where he graduated summa cum laude in 2007. He studied jazz guitar with C. Baltazanis, L. Baione, J. Baboian and J. D. Thomas, classical composition with the acclaimed composer Vuk Kulenovic, conducting with Tibor J. Pusztai. Working with both virtual orchestra and live musicians he has composed, orchestrated, performed and produced music for film, TV, theatre and albums in Greece, the US and Australia. He has been awarded in the 2018 International Animated Film Music Competition and has been the recipient of the Steven D. Holland award.
He works, teaches classes and seminars in Athens, Greece.
